About The Job
We are seeking a knowledgeable junior DevOps Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting your seniors at our infrastructure and deployment pipelines. You will work closely with our software engineering and operations teams to ensure that our systems are scalable, reliable, and secure.
Your Responsibilities:
- Assist, and maintain automated deployment pipelines for applications and infrastructure.
- Understands Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices to accelerate the release process.
- Learn and use Ansible to automate the provisioning and management of containerized applications and orchestrate them with Kubernetes or similar technologies.
- Learn and Implement monitoring solutions for application and infrastructure performance.
- Collaborate with development and IT operations teams to streamline processes.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and project success.
- Continuously improve our infrastructure and processes through automation and innovation.
What you Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience) with 1 year related experience.
- Considerable knowledge of DevOps tools such as Docker, Ansible, Jenkins, or Tekton, including CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and automation frameworks.
- Proficiency in scripting and coding, with experience in languages like Python, Shell, or Ruby is a plus.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience with similar technologies is a plus.
- Considerable knowledge of Linux is desired.
